2012 Best Lawyers in America

The Laser Law Firm wishes to congratulate partners Frank Newell, Dan Bufford, and Todd Wooten for being selected in the 2012 Best Lawyers in America.  Frank and Dan were chosen again in 2012 as Best Lawyers in America.  Frank was selected in the field of workers’ compensation,  Dan was selected in the fields of personal injury litigation and education law, and Todd was selected for the first time in the area of personal injury litigation.

Notable Attorney’s Legacy Benefits UALR

The Laser Law Firm of Little Rock has established an endowed scholarship at the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law in honor of the firm’s late founder, Sam Laser. Laser, who had been UALR’s oldest living letterman, died on Oct. 21, 2010, at the age of 90.

Cotten Cunningham speaks at ALA 30th Anniversary

Cotten Cunningham participated on a panel of managing partners speaking at the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Arkansas Chapter's 30th Anniversary Celebration, which was held on September 29th at the Little Rock Club. The topic of discussion directed to the managing partners was "What keeps me up at night...." Also, participating on the panel were Byron Eiseman with Friday, Eldredge & Clark; Grant Fortson with Lax, Vaughan, Fortson, Jones & Rowe; Harry Hamlin with Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard; Jennifer Wilson-Harvey with Wilson & Associates; and Perry Wilson with Barber, McCaskill, Jones & Hale. Rex Nelson served as the moderator of the panel, and approximately seventy-five (75) people were in attendance.

News: Cotten Cunningham to serve on VOCALS Board of Directors

Congratulations to Cotten Cunningham who was recently asked to serve on the VOCALS Board of Directors.  VOCALS (Volunteer Organization for Center for Arkansas Legal Services) is a joint venture of local bar associations and the Center for Arkansas Legal Services. VOCALS was created in 1982, because the bar recognized the need to become involved in the provision of legal services to the poor. VOCALS members provide pro bono legal representation to low-income clients and make financial contributions to help support the operating cost of the Center for Arkansas Legal Services, which is a non-profit, charitable organization.

News: Allison Koile joins firm

Congratulations to Allison Koile who joined the firm as an Associate in August of 2011.  In addition to her work as an attorney, Allison dedicates many hours to Heifer International, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Arkansas and Generation Zoo.

News: Ben Hall joins firm

Congratulations to Ben Hall who joined the firm as an Associate in August of 2010.  Before completing his education and joining Laser Law Firm, Ben served five years in the Navy, and was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
